Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Position Details

• Shift: 4x8 (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 32 per week

Experience Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: 2 years
• First-timers Accepted: No
• Locals Accepted: No, must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Certifications & Licenses

• Required Certifications:

  • ACLS (AHA only)
  • BLS (AHA only)
  • Other certifications may be required depending on unit (PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, EFM, NIH Stroke Certification, etc.) — check unit-specific requirements
• State License: Required as applicable per profession
• Tech Certification Verification: Required as applicable per profession
• Pass/Fail Testing: On-site EKG exam required for Monitor Techs (if applicable)

Background & Health Requirements

• Background Check: Required within 90 days of start, covering last 7 years and all states lived/worked in; includes SSN trace, criminal, sex offender, and motor vehicle reports (as applicable)
• Education Verification: Required (diploma or transcript)
• Physical Exam: Required
• Drug Testing: Negative 12-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (includes amphetamines, cannabinoids, MDMA, methamphetamines, buprenorphine, oxycodone, fentanyl, cocaine, methadone, tramadol, benzodiazepines, morphine/opiate)
• TB Testing: Negative 2-step PPD or Qgold within 1 year of start; T-Spots not accepted; if positive PPD, proof of chest x-ray within past 12 months required
• Immunizations / Titers Required:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, series, or declination)
  • Varicella
• Flu Vaccination: Required for flu season (October–May) or approved medical/religious exemption submitted prior to start
• COVID-19 Vaccination: Medical or religious exemptions must be submitted with proper documentation

Additional Requirements

• Photo for Badge: Clear, passport-style photo with solid background required
• Facility Specific Documents: Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement required prior to start
• Modules: Completion of facility-specific training modules (approx. 8-10 hours) required prior to start; paid hours for completion; no new modules if worked with facility within past year
