Job Opportunity: Therapy/Rehabilitation (Travel/Contract)

Location: Hayward, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Float to acute unit as needed
• Work every other weekend
• Patient ratio: 10-15
• Accepts first-time travelers

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Therapy/Rehabilitation
• Experience with Meditech, acute care, SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility)
• Knowledge of adaptive devices, AROM/AAROM/PROM (Active/Active Assisted/Passive Range of Motion)
• Skilled in patient assessment, discharge planning, and plan of care development
• Previous charge experience preferred

Certifications Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• CA State License

Additional Certifications (As applicable)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Background & Health Requirements

• Background check within 6 months covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
• Education verification or official transcript/diploma required
• International background check if employment gap outside the US in past 7 years
• Physical exam within 1 year of start (Aya standard)
• N95 respirator fit test within 1 year for those with patient contact
• Immunizations/vaccinations required:

  • Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer)
  • Hepatitis B (full vaccine series and titer or positive titer)
  • Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months of start
• 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start
• Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season (Sept 9 - March 31)
• COVID-19 primary series and booster vaccines required (exemptions accepted)
