Registered Nurse: MedSurg RN (Renal)

Location: Florence, South Carolina Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks Job Title: Medical Surgical

Schedule and Assignment

• Shift: Day, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
• Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
• Ratio: 1:6-7
• Weekends: Every other weekend required, plus holiday rotation
• On-call: Not required
• Guaranteed Hours: The facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Float: May float to other med/surg units if needed (float scope)
• Block Schedule: Approval can be requested before assignment but is not guaranteed
• RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission; approval is based on facility needs

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• 1 year of Med Surg experience, completed within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Preferred

• COVID vaccinations (not required, but highly preferred)
• Diploma or transcripts showing area of study and degree (highly preferred)

• Local Candidates: Not accepted; local radius is 60 miles

• Orientation: Facility modules take about 4 hours and must be completed before orientation, on a computer rather than a phone. Travelers who have not completed them will be sent home.
• Hurricane Season (June to November): All employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during this time.
