Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) (Days)

Location: Lancaster, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Day Shift, 12-hour shifts (7 AM - 7 PM), 36 hours per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work in a 25-bed critical access hospital providing medical, surgical, and intensive care services.
• Facility offers outpatient services including cardiac and physical rehabilitation, oncology, 24-hour emergency care, laboratory, and radiology.
• Located in a rural community known for outdoor recreation such as snowmobiling, hiking, and cross-country skiing.

Required Qualifications

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU), or Stepdown
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of work experience in PCU, IMCU, or Stepdown
• Certifications:

  • Active American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Active American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Additional Requirements:

  • PCU/Stepdown checklist current within the past year
  • One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment
  • License verification and all licenses/certifications must be current at time of submission
  • Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Meditech EMR system
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred (not explicitly required)

Other Information

• Return to Office (RTO) limit: 5 days
• No non-billable orientation hours
• Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply
