Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Nights)

Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
Work night shifts, 12 hours per day.
Weekly hours: 36-40 hours with billable overtime after 40 hours; alternative overtime threshold at 48 hours.
Orientation schedule provided.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa (Compact license allowed).
Minimum 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
BLS certification.
Experience with deep cardiac care and cardiac drips.
Valid driver’s license.

Additional Information

Electronic Medical Record system used: Cerner.
Night shift differential and overtime pay apply (details not included here).
May be eligible for charge/preceptor pay and on-call pay (details not included here).
Mandatory reporter status required.
