Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Hours per Day: 12

Job Description

Provide immediate assessment and support to patients in the emergency room.
Identify medical issues, determine severity, and intervene to minimize long-term negative effects or sustain life.
Act as one of the first responders when a patient is admitted to the ER.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience.
Current Oklahoma RN license or compact license.
Certifications required:
- BLS (AHA)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIH)
- ACLS (AHA)
- PALS (AHA)
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Recent travel nursing experience preferred.

Additional Information

Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays.
Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be considered for placement at a reduced rate.
On-call pay is provided with a minimum of 1 hour.
Non-compete policy: Former direct employees are ineligible for agency placement until 6 months after direct employment ends.
