Job Opportunity: Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) - Home Health (Days)

Job Description

• Provide speech therapy services to home health clients.
• Deliver direct patient care and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Participate in developing comprehensive patient care plans.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Specialty: Speech and Language Pathology
• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years of SLP Home Care experience required.
• Licenses & Certifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Speech and Language Pathology (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required; Clinical Fellow candidates accepted
  • Massachusetts Speech and Language Pathologist License (required)
  • Active American Heart Association BLS certification (required)
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle required (firm requirement).
• Knowledge of rehabilitation equipment including language/communication aids, devices, and wheelchairs.
• Acute care experience preferred but not required.

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• Must provide at least two specific interview dates/times; "anytime" availability is not accepted.
• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed during the assignment; all RTO must be submitted upfront with the profile.
• Facility will not consider candidates residing within 50 miles of the job location.
• Non-billable orientation: 8 hours.
• Holiday and overtime multipliers apply.
• Call, call-back, and charge responsibilities are not applicable for this position.

Summary

This is a home health temporary assignment for a Speech and Language Pathologist with at least 2 years of home care experience, appropriate licensure, and certifications. The role requires independent work, a valid driver’s license, and a personal vehicle. Candidates must be available for scheduled interviews and upfront about any time off requests.
