Float Cardiac Telemetry Nurse (RN Telemetry I)
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Job Summary
- Provide direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans; record and communicate patient conditions appropriately.
- Coordinate care among all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
- Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning with the healthcare team.
- Work requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently in a stressful environment.
- Use personal protective equipment following Standard Precautions as required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Minimum of 1 year of telemetry nursing experience, with telemetry experience within the last year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
