Job Details

• Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
• Contract Length: 12 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Shift: 06:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Work Schedule: Rotating days based on an 8-week schedule
• Call Requirements: 10 shifts of 12 hours each within the 8-week schedule

Required Qualifications

• Current Certified Surgical Technician (CST) license valid and verified within 30 days prior to assignment start
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be American Heart Association certified)
• Completion of core competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics within one year prior to start; updated every 3 years; minimum passing score required
• Completion of pre-hire surgical technologist onboarding education attestation modules prior to clearance
• Valid driver’s license or state ID matching home state address (if applicable)
• Documentation of required immunizations and health screenings:

  • Two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination
  • Positive IGRA or PPD results with negative chest X-ray within one year and annual TB questionnaire
  • Two Varicella vaccines or serological evidence of immunity (no declinations accepted)
  • Tdap vaccine valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
  • Annual fit test for respiratory protection (PAPR not completed onsite)
  • Influenza vaccine recommended during flu season (exemptions accepted with mask requirement)
• Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
• Negative 12-panel drug screen completed within 30 days prior to start, including MRO review if applicable
• Verification of education relevant to clinical work within 90 days prior to start
• Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry, and other required screenings within 90 days prior to start; updated annually or after break in service >90 days
• Employment verification for the past seven years, updated annually or after break in service >90 days
• At least two professional references completed prior to first assignment
• Skills checklist for specialty completed within one year prior to start and updated annually

Additional Requirements

• Forward-facing headshot with white or blue background (no alterations or filters)
• Signed assignment agreement and confirmation of assignment documentation required
• Resume/profile submission required
• Compliance with all onboarding and submission documentation as specified
