Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Day shift: 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
- No weekends, holidays, or on-call required
Job Description
- Provide perioperative nursing care in a high-volume outpatient surgery setting.
- Manage preoperative and postoperative phases of patient care following established policies and protocols.
- Prepare patients for surgery, cath lab, endoscopy, and special procedures.
- Ensure effective discharge planning for outpatients.
- Must be able to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas.
- Minimum 3 years of outpatient surgery experience, including at least 1 year within the last year.
- Perioperative nursing experience in an outpatient surgery setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
