Role Summary

• Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Implements and monitors patient care plans.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oklahoma.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year.
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience).
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• Driver's License.

Onboarding / Compliance

• Pharmacology exam: minimum 80% score, completed prior to start, updated every 3 years.
• Specialty exam: minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, completed prior to first assignment, updated every 3 years.
• Core competencies: HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics; completed within a year of start, updated every 3 years.
• EKG exam: minimum 80% score, completed prior to start, updated every 3 years.
• Education attestation and nursing contract worker onboarding required.
• Cerner test-out required.
• Nova StatStrip required annually.
• Badge photo required.
• MMR documentation required.
• Fit test required.
• Hepatitis B documentation required.
• Influenza vaccine documentation required; exemptions/declinations accepted, but mask use is required.
• Health statement or completed physical exam required prior to first assignment, updated annually.
• Driver's license or state ID required and must not be expired.
• 2-step PPD or IGRA required.
• Varicella documentation required.
• Tdap required and valid for 10 years.
• Criminal background check required.
• EPLS required.
• Education verification required.
• Confirmation of assignment required.
• Employment verification for the past seven years required.
• 11-panel drug screen required within 30 days prior to start.
