CT Technologist Position

Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Credentials and Compliance for Onboarding

Licenses & Certifications

• License/Certificate Verification: Active professional license for Louisiana (primary source verification within 30 days of start, updated upon expiration)
• ARRT Certification
• BLS Certification: AHA or ARC only

Personal Health Requirements

• COVID-19 Vaccine: Proof or exemption accepted (optional)
• MMR: Proof of 2 immunizations, positive titer, or declination with signed statement
• Fit Test: N95 mask fit test (3M 1860, 1860s, or 1870+), completed within 1 year prior to start, updated annually
• Hepatitis B: Proof of 3 immunizations, positive titer, or declination with required signatures
• Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (10/1 - 4/30); medical or religious exemptions accepted with proper documentation and approvals
• TB Test: Negative QuantiFERON blood test within 1 year or 2-step skin test (1 within 30 days, 1 within 1 year); if positive, MD note or proof of treatment required
• Health Statement: Signed within 1 year of start confirming ability to work without restrictions
• Varicella: Proof of 2 immunizations, positive titer, or declination with signed statement
• Tdap: Vaccination within past 10 years or declination with required signatures
• Annual TB Questionnaire: Required within 6 months of start; if positive, documentation of evaluation and treatment completion required
• Eye Exam & Color Vision: Ishihara Color Test and Snellen Vision test within 1 year prior to start

Background and Drug Screening

• Criminal Background Check: Completed within 30 days prior to start, including SSN address trace, county and national criminal checks, education and employment verification (last 5 years), driving record, and various federal watch lists
• Drug Screen: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start (includes marijuana/THC, PCP, amphetamines, opiates, cocaine, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, methadone, propoxyphene, methaqualone)

Skills and Competency Testing

• Skills Checklist: Unit-specific, within 1 year prior to start, updated annually
• Competency Exam: Passing score of 80% or higher within 1 year prior to start
• Core Competencies: Includes HIPAA, Patient Bill of Rights, Safety Orientation, Bloodborne Pathogens, Fire Safety, Infection Control, Elder Abuse and Neglect, Age-Specific Care, Cultural Diversity, Advance Directives; passing score of 80% or higher, updated annually

Additional Professional Requirements

• Resume/Profile: Required for submission
• HRIS Form: Required for submission
• Badge Photo: Forward-facing, well-lit, neutral background, JPEG format
• Annual Education Packet: Required
