Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technician

Location: Florence, South Carolina
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Requirements & Responsibilities

• Must hold current certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT, and SCQRSA
• Proficiency in sterile technique is required
• Ability to properly position patients and perform all radiographic examinations
• Familiarity with all radiographic equipment and ability to operate it at any time
• Provide high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation
• Responsible for patient care, supplies, and equipment maintenance
• Maintain a professional image and excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development
• Compliance with all facility policies to ensure high-quality service
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Certifications & Licenses

• ARRT or NMTCB certification
• BLS (AHA only)
• ACLS (AHA only)
• State-specific license/certificate verification (Primary source verification required)
• Sterile Processing certification (CRCST/CBSPD or NBSTSA) if applicable
• Valid driver's license or state ID

Immunization & Health Requirements

• COVID-19 vaccination (fully vaccinated preferred)
• MMR: Proof of 2 immunizations or titer with lab printout (no declinations accepted)
• Hepatitis B: Proof of 3 vaccinations or titer with lab printout (no declinations accepted)
• Varicella: Proof of 2 immunizations or titer with lab printout (no declinations accepted)
• 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) testing within required timeframes
• Influenza vaccine (required September-April; exemptions considered case-by-case)
• Fit test for respiratory protection (required within one year of start)
• 10 panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (rapid drug screen not accepted)

Professional & Background Requirements

• Social Security card copy required
• Criminal background check including county, statewide, national search, OIG, EPLS, OFAC, NSOP, SS Trace, and education verification within last 7 years (updated annually)
• Employment verification for the past 5 years
• Skills checklist (clinical only) completed prior to start and updated annually
• Confirmation of assignment form required
