Job Opportunity: Cardiac Surgical ICU RN - Rotating Shifts

Location

  • Boston, Massachusetts

Employment Type

  • Long-Term Assignment (LTA)

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Work Schedule

  • 36 hours per week
  • Day/Night rotating shifts
  • Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH)

Required Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Surgical ICU
  • At least 1 year of prior travel nursing experience required

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Massachusetts
  • Minimum 2 years of CVICU (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
  • Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
  • BLS certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) experience

Additional Information

  • TB positive candidates must provide a negative chest x-ray dated after the positive test
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity is strongly preferred but optional
  • Tdap vaccination within 10 years is preferred
  • Name change documentation required if legal name differs from credential documents
  • Fit testing cannot be performed onsite; must be completed prior to assignment start
  • Background checks and credential verifications must be updated if there is a break in employment longer than 6 months
