Job Description

• Role: Cardiac Catheterization Technologist II
• Responsibilities:

  • Act as a critical member of the patient care team within the department
  • Collaborate with care team members to ensure continuity of care
  • Promote patient/family-focused care in all interactions
  • Focus on understanding and meeting customer needs
• Shifts:

  • (3) 12-hour shifts or (4) 10-hour shifts per week
  • Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call possible, but no weekend or holiday worked shifts guaranteed
  • Expect 1-3 weeknights and possibly 1 weekend during the 13-week contract (not guaranteed)

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 2+ years as a Radiologic Technologist
• Minimum 1+ year prior travel experience required as a traveler
• Certifications: ARRT with RCIS required

Certifications & Licenses

• ACLS (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted)
• Professional license verification required (no MA Conditional Licenses accepted)
• Fit Test (N95) within 365 days of start date, updated annually
• MMR vaccination or proof of immunity
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30)
• TB test documentation within 3 months of start date
• Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date
• Criminal background checks including Massachusetts CORI and national sex offender check
• Education verification of highest level achieved
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation (if fit test required)

Additional Health & Professional Requirements

• Hepatitis B vaccine or proof of immunity preferred
• Tdap vaccine preferred (within 10 years)
• Positive PPD requires negative chest x-ray documentation
• Various background and exclusion checks required and must be updated regularly

Summary
