Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
Location: Reno, Nevada

Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist specializing in diagnostic ultrasound procedures. The role involves performing complex ultrasound exams in one or more areas such as Cardiac, Vascular, or General Ultrasound. The technologist will operate sophisticated imaging equipment, follow established protocols, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images to support patient care.
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- 40 hours per week guaranteed
- Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
- May be required to float within the organization up to competency level
- May need to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Recent ultrasound technologist experience within the last year
Licenses & Certifications
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential required
- CPR certification upon hire
- AHA BLS certification required within 60 days of hire
Additional Information
- The technologist will participate in accreditation and re-accreditation processes for ultrasound modalities
- Responsible for maintaining equipment, lab cleanliness, and safety checks (e.g., code blue carts, eye wash stations)
- Must be able to make technical decisions to optimize image quality
- May be asked to perform other duties as assigned within the department
