Location: Gallatin, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide quality nursing care in the Emergency Department of a 167-bed healthcare facility with Level III Trauma Center status. The facility serves all age groups and is fully accredited.

Work Schedule

Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Weekend hours: Every other weekend / as needed
Call requirements: As needed
Float requirements: As needed

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Required certifications prior to start:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- HWC (Health Worker Certification) or CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Unit & Patient Population

Department: Emergency Room
Patient population: All ages (pediatric, adult, geriatric)
Professional, team-oriented work environment with emphasis on supporting staff and respecting department expectations

Orientation & Additional Information

Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff
Dress code: Any scrub color allowed

Key Skills & Experience

Prior ER experience is required
Professional attitude with willingness to learn and work collaboratively
