Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Miami, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours (1:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 5 days per week)
On-Call: During the week and every other weekend

Unit Information

Unit Type: Cardiac Catheterization Lab
Number of Beds: 13
Number of Staff: 30 (RNs and CVTs)
Patient Ratio: 1:3
Shift Coverage:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM or until all cases are completed
- Night Shift: On Call
Equipment Used: Phillips and GE
Documentation Systems: Meditech, Mac Lab
Call Requirements: After hours, weekends, and major holidays

Left Heart Catheterization (LHC)
Right Heart Catheterization (RHC)
Peripheral Procedures
Structural Heart Interventions
Electrophysiology (EP)

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- ARRT
- CRT
- RCIS or RCES
- Cath Lab Tech Certification

Additional Preferences

Previous cath lab experience preferred
Ability to function independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment
