Job Opportunity: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Operating Room

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Four 10-hour shifts per week (exact shift times and days vary based on patient volume)
• Approximately 36 hours per week
• May be required to float between campuses as needed

Job Description

• Prepare the operating room, including sterile field setup and surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions
• Pass instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgeon during surgery
• Manage surgical equipment and maintain the sterile field and specimens
• Perform counts of sponges and supplies to prevent retained foreign objects

Required Qualifications

• Surgical Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
• National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with robotics and neurosurgery cases
• Comfortable working with da Vinci surgical systems
