Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

Location: Statesboro, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Mid shifts, approximately 12:30 PM to 1:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Job Summary

• Provide nursing care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe patient care delivery.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve effective patient care and desired outcomes.

Unit Details

• Unit beds: 29 plus 8 hallway beds
• Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 4 patients
• No call required
• No floating required
• Scrub color: Navy
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Cerner
• Blocked scheduling attempts to cluster days while meeting weekend requirements, but exact days off cannot be guaranteed
• One major and one minor holiday may be required to work

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Completion of 2 or more prior travel nursing assignments
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ESI Level 5
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

• 48-hour weekly guarantees are not available
• No maximum Return to Office (RTO) restrictions as long as full-time equivalent (FTE) and weekend requirements are met

This position requires a skilled Emergency Room RN with prior travel experience and critical certifications, ready to work mid shifts in a fast-paced ER environment.
