Job Overview

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Alabama
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Labor and Delivery (3 years of experience)
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • OB/GYN experience
  • Post Partum experience
  • BLS
  • ACLS or ALS-OB
  • NRP
  • EFM

Key Experience / Skills

  • Fetal monitoring and assessment
  • Emergency response
  • Postpartum care
  • Time management

Unit Details

  • Patient population: Adults
  • Patient ratio: 1:1
  • Unit size: 9 beds

Additional Notes

  • Must be comfortable with labor and delivery cases including preterm labor, fetal distress, postpartum hemorrhage, and related obstetric conditions
  • Scrub color: Ceil blue
