Role Overview

Travel RN position in the Emergency Dept in Cortez, Colorado
36 hours per week
13-week contract

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor degree
Additional languages
ER/Inpatient experience is preferred

Notes

PALS can be obtained at the facility if the candidate does not already have it
Current PALS and ACLS are required within 6 months of hire, or within 12 months for new graduates
EKG course completion is required within 4 months of hire for Med/surg only
TNCC course completion is required within 12 months of hire
The role may involve exposure to infectious waste, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, foul odors, and occasional aggressive patients
Heavy physical demands are listed, including lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally
