Role Overview
- Travel RN position in the Emergency Dept in Cortez, Colorado
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor degree
- Additional languages
- ER/Inpatient experience is preferred
Notes
- PALS can be obtained at the facility if the candidate does not already have it
- Current PALS and ACLS are required within 6 months of hire, or within 12 months for new graduates
- EKG course completion is required within 4 months of hire for Med/surg only
- TNCC course completion is required within 12 months of hire
- The role may involve exposure to infectious waste, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, foul odors, and occasional aggressive patients
- Heavy physical demands are listed, including lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally
