Unit Details

Medical-surgical telemetry renal unit
36-bed unit
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6
Focuses on kidney-related conditions, including acute and chronic kidney disease
May involve renal replacement therapy
Experience with post-hemodialysis and ongoing peritoneal dialysis

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in Alabama
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Work Expectations

Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals
