Interim Leader

Overview

  • Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
  • Assignment length: 13 weeks
  • Schedule: Days, flexible; provides 24/7 leadership and requires attendance at morning and afternoon team huddles as coverage needs change
  • Unit size: Main ED 22 beds; FSED 10 beds

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in New Mexico
  • ED - Emergency Department (3 years of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree
  • 3–5 years of previous leadership experience
  • CEN
  • TNCC
  • ENPC

Role Summary

  • Provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Emergency Department
  • Oversees clinical practice, staffing, education, quality improvement, compliance, and departmental operations
  • Supports emergency preparedness and disaster response coordination
  • May work in a staff role when required
