Interim Leader

Overview

Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Assignment length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Days, flexible; provides 24/7 leadership and requires attendance at morning and afternoon team huddles as coverage needs change
Unit size: Main ED 22 beds; FSED 10 beds

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Mexico
ED - Emergency Department (3 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree
3–5 years of previous leadership experience
CEN
TNCC
ENPC

Role Summary

Provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Emergency Department
Oversees clinical practice, staffing, education, quality improvement, compliance, and departmental operations
Supports emergency preparedness and disaster response coordination
May work in a staff role when required
