Overview

• Travel assignment in Pittsburg, Kansas
• 1 opening
• Day shift
• 32 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend
• Patient population: 18+
• Unit: Acute Rehab Unit
• 12 beds
• Trauma Level III

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Kansas
• Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• Master's degree in physical therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Inpatient Rehab

Float Scope

• May float to Med/Surg, CSD, and ICU through a reciprocal staffing agreement with a partner hospital
• Floating to alternate units happens on occasion, not as a daily occurrence

Unit Details

• Patient ratio: 1:6
• Equipment includes FWW with platform attachments, rollator, hemi walker, SBQC, SPC, hoyer, trapeze, sit-to-stand, and bariatric equipment
• Common diagnoses/treatment: Ortho/Neuro

Dress Code

• Black scrubs
• Mercy approved t-shirts are allowed
