Medical Technologist

Location: Lander, Wyoming
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 40
Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Worksites: Responsible for covering both Lander and Riverton campuses

Job Description

• Oversee day-to-day operations of laboratory personnel performing chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests
• Ensure adherence to quality control protocols
• Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment
• Support Laboratory Manager with staffing, training, and compliance with state and federal regulations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma
• Graduation from a Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) training program accredited by ABHES, CAHEA, or other HHS-approved organization
• ASCP certification (must be current and submitted)
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (must be current and submitted)
• Minimum of 3 years of Medical Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience in supervisory roles within a laboratory setting

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
• Candidates must be able to work full-time 40 hours per week
• Must be able to cover multiple campuses as assigned
