Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:8-9 (days and nights; estimated, not guaranteed)

Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech
Work Environment: Family-oriented, collaborative team atmosphere
Recognition: Facility holds Magnet designation (3X)

Provide nursing care on a behavioral health inpatient unit focused on geriatric patients
Perform behavioral health admissions and discharges
May float to other adult inpatient behavioral health units
Lead RN resources available with classes provided
Flexibility and willingness to manage varied patient acuity required
Team-player attitude and compassion essential
Opportunity to gain experience caring for patients with diverse mental health issues

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
Minimum 1 year of Behavioral Health nursing experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification or Calm Every Storm certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

This is a travel nursing assignment
