Job Opportunity: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Position Details
- Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Location: Key West, Florida
- Facility: Lower Keys Medical Center (part of Community Health Systems)
- Employment Type: Travel
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM, 3 shifts per week)
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Florida RRT certification (must be attached to submission)
- NRP certification required
- Experience with Medhost charting system
- Comfortable working independently in NICU; pediatric experience is also acceptable
- AHCA certification required for Florida placements
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
- Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
- Maintain airways and manage ventilators
- Insert arterial lines and perform intubations
- Conduct pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analyses
