Location: Las Vegas, Nevada
Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Unit Information
- Unit: Labor & Delivery, Antepartum (AP), Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Beds: 8 L&D, 8 AP, 4 OBED, 3 PACU
- Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 1 CAN/HUC, 1 OB Tech, 7 Staff RNs
- Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 1 CN/HUC, 1 OB Tech, 6 Staff RNs
- Patient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 in OBED
- Equipment: Fetal Monitors
- EMR Systems: Meditech and CPN
Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery and Antepartum nursing (higher of stated requirements)
- Preferred Experience: Previous experience in OBED and CPN units is a plus
- Certifications Required:
- EFM/AWHONN
- ACLS
- NRP
- BLS
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse License

- Vaginal Deliveries
- Cesarean Sections
Work Schedule & Environment
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift Requirements: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
- On Call: No call required
- Floating Areas: Mothers care, Post-Partum
- Dress Code: Pink top and black pants
