Unit Information

• Unit: Cath Lab at a medical center
• Beds: 4 Procedural Rooms, 14 Recovery Bays
• Staffing:

  • Day Shift: 3-4 staff per procedural room
  • Night Shift: On-call 4-person team
• Patient Ratios: 3-4 staff per patient procedure
• Equipment Used: CATH, EP IR, Neuro IR Lab
• EMR System: MAC LAB

Required Skills & Experience

• Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty
• Certifications:

  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • Cath Lab Tech Certification
• Must Have Experience With:

  • CATH LAB
  • IR (Interventional Radiology)
  • Peripherals
  • Neuro IR
• Preferred Skills:

  • EP (Electrophysiology)
  • Cardiac Intervention

• Carotid Stenting and Angiograms

• All IR Procedures

Work Schedule & Policies

• Call Requirement: 2 nights per week and every other weekend
• Dress Code:

  • Scrubs: Any color (provided by facility)
  • Shoes: Must be black, white, or gray
