Position Details

Specialty: ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
Shift: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend

Unit: Medical ICU (2nd Floor)
Number of Beds: 14
Patient Ratio: 1:2, CN free of patients
Patient Population: Medical ICU with minimal cardiac cases
Typical Patients: Sepsis, respiratory issues, some cardiac and trauma
Equipment: Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) occasionally used
Electronic Health Record (EHR): Paragon

Requirements

Licenses: Registered Nurse License
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Certification
Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty (ICU)
Preferred Experience: Medical ICU, TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Personality Fit: Team-oriented, accountable to best practices
