Position Details

Unit Information
- Unit Name: 2 North - Oncology
- Number of Beds: 24
- Patient Ratios: 5-6 patients per nurse
- Staffing: 2 Patient Care Technicians (PCT) per shift, 1 Unit Secretary during day shift
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling Requirements: 4 weekend days per contract (weekend nights are Saturday and Sunday)
- Floating Policy: As needed
- Patient Experience Initiatives: Whiteboards, Bedside Shift Report, Hourly Safety Rounds, Key Words
Required Skills and Experience
- Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty (Oncology/Medical-Surgical background preferred)
- Certifications: BLS required
- Licenses: Valid Registered Nurse License
- Advanced Skills: Not required
- Procedures Performed: Chemotherapy administration

- Dress Code: Navy Blue uniform
- Communication Tools: Use of iMobile phones for communication with staff, physicians, and patients
