Travel Pharmacist Opportunity - Panama City, Florida

Position Details

• Specialty: Pharmacist
• Location: Panama City, FL
• Employment Type: Travel
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
• Shift: Mixed shifts from 6:00 AM to 9:30 PM, rotating weekends (every other weekend)
• Dress Code: Pewter scrubs and closed-toed shoes required

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid Pharmacist license in Florida
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacist experience
• Pharmacist experience within the last year
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification
• Experience working with neonate patients
• Experience working with pediatric patients

Unit & Facility Highlights

• Acute care hospital with 282 beds
• Pediatric ER, 4-bed Pediatric ICU, and 28-bed NICU available
• Use of advanced pharmacy technology including Pyxis MedStation ES, BD Pyxis CII Safe, DoseEdge (IV Workflow Management), and Meditech documentation system
• Technicians transitioning to a 12-hour shift model soon, indicating evolving scheduling practices
