Job Description
The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care. Responsibilities include maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education, delegating patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and supervising assigned personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arkansas
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 1 year of Med Surg experience within the last year
- Experience in Med Surg and Telemetry nursing
- Experience in Telemetry nursing
- Experience in Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) nursing
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Additional Information
- Facility setting includes LTAC/Telemetry units
- Candidates must be able to provide documentation of certifications and licenses
- Shift accountability and leadership skills are essential
- EMR experience and work schedule details to be discussed during the interview process
