Occupational Therapist Travel Position
Location: Oro Valley, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Job Description
The Occupational Therapist will facilitate the development and rehabilitation of physically disabled patients, aiming to maximize their functional status during hospitalization. Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating, planning, implementing, and modifying age-appropriate treatment programs
- Participating in discharge planning
- Performing administrative duties
- Engaging in performance improvement activities
- Pursuing professional growth
- Covering Skilled Nursing Unit, Acute, and Rehab areas
Shift: 5/8's, Tuesday through Saturday, with flexible hours (either 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 7:00 AM–3:30 PM)
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Experience with Cerner preferred
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Arizona
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification
Contract Length
Approximately 13 weeks
