Occupational Therapist - Home Health
Location: Sacramento, California
Facility: Mercy Home Health
Job Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Average Caseload: Approximately 4 visits per day (combination of evaluations and revisits)
- Coverage Area: Northeastern Sacramento into Folsom
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Active California OT license
- Active BLS certification
- Active NPI number
- Current driver's license and proof of automobile insurance (required for home health travel)
- Two supervisory references required at time of submission (one within the last 12 months, one within the last 3 years)
- Completion of required modules before assignment start (3-4 hours, non-billable time)
Additional Information
- Mileage reimbursement provided according to GSA guidelines; mileage must be documented and approved by home health supervisors
- Candidates with COTA credentials and home health experience may be considered if no OT applicants are available
- Regular meetings twice a month for timesheet and mileage approval or alternative electronic submission process available
