Registered Nurse (OR RN) - Indiana, Jasper

Job Summary

Seeking an OR Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment approximately 2 hours south of Indianapolis, IN. The nurse should be experienced in scrubbing and circulating, with strong skills in spine and orthopedic cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate in the operating room.
• Manage cases involving total joints, Da Vinci robotic surgery, spine, general surgery, urology, and gynecology.
• Take call approximately once per week and every 4th or 5th weekend.
• Call shifts include Friday evening through Saturday morning and full 24-hour coverage on weekends.
• Must be within 30 minutes of the hospital when on call.

Schedule Options

• 10-hour shifts: 0630-1700 or 0830-1900 (40 hours/week)
• 9-hour shifts: 0630-1600 or 0930-1900 (36 hours/week)
• 8-hour shifts: 0630-1500 or 1030-1900 (40 hours/week)
• Call frequency: About 8 times in a 6-week period; weekend calls can be taken consecutively or separately.
• Holiday call required (Memorial Day and 4th of July).

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in Indiana.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Strong experience with spine and orthopedic patients.
• Ability to scrub and circulate in the OR.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the facility during call periods.

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience as an OR RN with spine/ortho focus.
