Location: Yerington, Nevada
Contract Length: 13 weeks (travel assignment)

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at a small hospital near Reno and Carson City, Nevada.

• Work primarily night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• 36 hours per week with the possibility of up to 48 hours
• Charge nurse coverage: 1 per day
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: up to 1:16 depending on census (average census ~30)
• Staff includes primarily LPNs and nurse aides (5 aides on days, 3 on nights)
• Floating is uncommon but may assist in ED or Acute care occasionally
• EMR system: Point Click Care
• Floor-specific orientation: 1-2 shifts as needed for traveler comfort
• Weekend and holiday work as needed/rotated with core staff
• Scrub color: any

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nevada
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum of 2 years Nursing Home experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience in a Long Term Care (LTC) setting
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
