Job Opportunity: OT - Inpatient

Location: Bemidji, Minnesota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

• Active Minnesota Occupational Therapy license
• Active BLS (AHA) certification
• Minimum 1 year recent inpatient hospital experience (acute care setting preferred; experience within past 3 years)
• Willingness to float to Outpatient if needed
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required

Job Details

• Evaluation and treatment of a variety of adult patient diagnoses in an acute hospital setting, including:

  • General deconditioning
  • Total joint replacement
  • Post-op orthopedic cases
  • Some neurological diagnoses
  • General medical-surgical cases
• Use of EPIC electronic medical record system
• Typical caseload: approximately 30-40 patients
• Shift: Monday to Friday, day shift only; no call or weekends; will not work alone
• Floating: Preference for willingness to cross-train to Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) for intermittent coverage, but not required

Orientation & Dress Code

• Computer-based orientation for organization
• One-on-one EPIC and department orientation
• Dress code: Charcoal grey scrubs or business casual (Polo colors: Ceil Blue, Khaki, Gray, Chocolate Brown)

Additional Notes

• Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility may have adjusted rates (not included here)
• If previously employed by this health system, must have ended employment at least 6 months prior to submission
