MRI Technologist – Houston, TX

Job Details

Specialty: Main MRI
Location: Houston, Texas
Contract Length: 6 weeks
Shift: Evenings
Hours: Four 10-hour shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Call Schedule:
- One week-long call rotation, Monday to Monday, currently once a month (may change)
- Weekdays call hours: 11 PM to 7 AM
- Weekend call hours: 7 AM to 7 AM for the following day
- If called in during 7 AM to 7 PM weekend shift, on-call tech must cover that shift
- Call back frequency: 2-4 times per month on average

Required Qualifications

BLS Certification
Certified MRI Technologist via ARMRIT (AMRIT certification accepted)
Familiarity with Philips 1.5T & 3T MRI machines; Siemens 1.5T arriving June 2025
Texas license not required

Additional Information

Daily parking available at $15+/day; monthly parking passes available at $95-$120 in various on/off campus locations
