Echo Tech - Diagnostic Imaging

Location: Grand Junction, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract, Full-Time
Work Setting: Cath Lab
Schedule: Monday - Friday (varied), on call every 3 weeks; limited weekend call with certain shift schedules (to be discussed at interview)

Position Highlights

Greet patients and verify patient identity, exam, diagnosis, and physician orders before procedures
Ensure accuracy in procedures and documentation within EMR and PACS systems
Maintain proficiency in:
- 2D Doppler
- Color Flow Doppler
- M-Mode
- Transesophageal Echocardiography with 3D
- Echo Enhancement (Definity) studies
- Bubble Studies
- Stress Echocardiography
Clean equipment and environment after each exam; restock supplies
Collaborate within a supportive team environment
Educate peers, caregivers, and students as appropriate

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
Current ARDMS or CCI registration
BLS certification
