• Surgical patients of all types
• Medical patients of all types
• Neurology patients at times

• IV pumps
• PCA pumps
• Sequential Compression Devices (SCDs)
• BiPAPs, CPAPs
• Optiflow, Vapotherm, Airvo devices

Clinical Skills & Requirements

Vasoactive Drip Titration (Required)

• Neosynephrine
• Amiodarone
• Cardizem
• Others

Nurse to Patient Ratio

• Approximately 1:3 (not guaranteed)

Line Management Skills (Required)

• IV insertion
• PICC/Central line management
• Vascular device access/care
• Dialysis fistula care/management
• Arterial line (A-line) management

Line Management Skills (Preferred)

• Central Venous Pressure (CVP) monitoring

Cardiac Skills (Preferred)

• Obtain 12-lead EKG
• Sheath removal
• Cardioversion/defibrillation

Airway Management (Required)

• CPAP/BiPAP management
• Tracheostomy care

Ortho/MS/Oncology Skills (Required)

• Epidural/PCA pumps
• Feeding tubes
• Wound VAC care

Certifications Required

• ACLS
• BLS/BCLS

• The facility may downstaff travelers with 36-48 hours' notice during the 13-week contract based on weekly schedule.
