Registered Nurse - Cardiac/Telemetry

Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Primarily assigned to a Cardiac unit with occasional floating to various Med-Surg units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Respiratory, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders.
Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), totaling 36 hours/week.
Every weekend required.
No on-call requirement.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 3 years of recent/current Med Surg / Telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Stepdown nursing experience
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Proficiency with Epic EMR; refresher training or 1:1 support is not provided
Must be able to read Telemetry strips; competency will be tested on day one. Failure to pass will result in termination.

Additional Information

Start dates available only on April 20th and May 18th unless the nurse is a returning traveler within the last 9 months.
Facility may cancel up to 36 hours during the 13-week contract.
All requested time off must be disclosed at submission and included in the contract confirmation to be honored.
Compliance with contract terms and confirmation details is strictly enforced.
