Registered Nurse – Outpatient Hematology/Oncology

Location: State College, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Shift: Day Shift, Monday to Friday, no weekends or holidays
Hours: 40 hours per week (shifts between 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM)

Job Description

Provide professional nursing care to oncology patients following established standards and healthcare practices.
Assist providers in patient care and education.
Participate as a member of the healthcare team to engage patients, families, and caregivers in coordinating patient care.
Demonstrate competence in making professional judgments related to patient care.

Required Qualifications

Education

Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Licenses & Certifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of hematology/oncology nursing experience within the last year.
