Job Description

• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient- and family-centered care in the Emergency Department.
• Communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team to develop patient care plans.
• Maintain confidentiality and support the organization's mission, vision, and values.
• Function independently and act rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maine or Authorization to Practice pending licensure by endorsement.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BCLS certification.
• ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire date.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Excellent assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills.
