Job Description

Perform all nursing responsibilities specific to the Emergency Department scope of service.
Implement procedures and theories related to ED nursing practice.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing care to support healthcare team integration.
Complete initial patient assessments upon admission and develop appropriate care plans based on patient and family needs.
Implement and modify care plans and nursing interventions based on continuous patient evaluation.
Ensure patient and staff safety by identifying, reporting, and correcting safety hazards and incidents.
Communicate effectively and confidentially with colleagues, patients, and families to resolve issues and promote a healing environment.
Provide constructive feedback to peers to support professional development and knowledge expansion.
Identify personal learning needs and take initiative to address them.
Fulfill all departmental competency requirements.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of relevant nursing experience in an Emergency Department or similar setting.

Contract Length

Approximately 13 weeks (89 days rounded to nearest week).
