Job Summary

Provides leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and patient/family teaching. Communicates pertinent patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team. Participates in identifying and resolving variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.


Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Michigan
  • Minimum of 1 year of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience within the last year
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Cardiac scrub experience
