Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP

Unit: Critical Care Unit (CCU)
Shift: 12-hour variable shifts (example: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and every other holiday
Patient Ratio: 1:2
Float: May float to similar units within skillset and to other locations within a 40-mile radius; floating can be pre-scheduled
On Call/Call Back: Possible low census on-call; minimum 2-hour call back

Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or Red Cross)
Experience: Minimum 2+ years ICU experience; prior critical access/rural experience highly preferred
Charting: EPIC experience preferred but not required

Occasional pediatric surgical patients (ENT or ortho cases) may be encountered
Scrub color: Any
During flu season, travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccinations must wear a mask at all times per facility policy; non-compliance may result in corrective action
Contract includes eligibility for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
GSA not applicable during orientation week
