Overview

Travel assignment in Duluth, Minnesota
13-week contract
36 guaranteed hours per week
12-hour variable day/night shifts on a week rotation
May be low censused and placed on call; call back minimum is 2 hours
Weekend/holiday requirement: 2 out of 4 weekends and every other holiday
Must live outside a 50-mile radius
Eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours

Required Qualifications

Minnesota RN license
BLS (AHA/ARC)
ACLS (BLS/ARC); must have ACLS in hand at time of submission
NIHSS
1 year of minimal acute care experience within critical care

Preferred

TNCC
CCRN
Critical Care experience within the past 3 years
1 travel assignment
Epic experience
Demonstrated contract experience in colder climates for winter start dates

Float Scope

Floats between critical care units
May float to lower acuity units based on census and need

Clinical Focus

CCU nursing with stroke and/or cardiac patient care
Core Measures for stroke and/or cardiac patients unless contraindicated
