CCU Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel assignment in Duluth, Minnesota.
• Contract length: 10 weeks.
• Guaranteed hours per week: 36.
• Shift: 12-hour variable day/night week rotation.
• Start date: 10/26.

Unit / Float / Scheduling

• Based in CCU.
• May float between critical care units and possibly to lower acuity units based on census and need.
• Can be low censused and put on call; call back minimum is 2 hours.
• Weekend requirement: 2 out of 4 weekends.
• Holiday requirement: every other holiday.

Required Qualifications

• Minnesota RN license.
• BLS (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS (BLS/ARC) in hand at time of submission.
• NIHSS.
• 1 year minimal acute care experience within critical care.

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC.
• CCRN.
• Critical care experience within the past 3 years.
• 1 travel assignment.
• Epic charting experience.
• Demonstrated contract experience in colder climates for winter start dates.

Additional Notes

• Radius rule: contractors must live outside a 50-mile radius.
• Scrub color: Royal Blue.
• Eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours.
• GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of orientation.
